A Legacy Seminar

Held on the 3rd through to the 7th of November, 2025, National Seminar in the Ota Chapter was a profoundly enriching experience. It was an immersive blend of vision, leadership, fellowship, and celebration.

Sponsored generously by Pharmacist Samson Osewa and his wife, Mrs. Victoria Osewa, the seminar was organized in honour of his upcoming 70th birthday later this November, marking not just a personal milestone, but a legacy of investment in people and transformational leadership.

The seminar was fully residential, offering a vibrant learning ecosystem where participants could retreat from their busy schedules and concerns to immerse themselves deeply in the sessions. It hosted 75 elite leaders carefully drawn from various spheres of influence; Ministry, Government, Business, Corporate Leadership, Social Enterprise, Media, Tech, and other professional fields. The diversity of experiences and backgrounds represented in the room added to the uniqueness of every discussion, fostering an atmosphere where insights flowed freely, connections strengthened, and vision expanded.

A major highlight of the seminar was the quality of its faculty. Haggai Nigeria’s finest facilitators were joined by distinguished international faculty members (including Buti Sam Kputu, Pharm Samson Osewa, Architect Wilson Osikoya and the International Associate, Rev Edwin George, each bringing depth, clarity, and inspired perspectives to the sessions. From Paradigm Shift and Communicating Effectively for Evangelism to Biblical and Contemporary Methods in Evangelism and The Dynamics of Goal Setting. The teachings were delivered with precision and passion. Participants described the sessions as eye-opening, soul-stirring, and practically empowering…hallmarks of the Haggai training experience.

Beyond the structured classroom sessions, the residential setting encouraged meaningful interaction and authentic community building. Early morning devotions, shared meals, group interactions and presentations created bonds that often prove just as transformative as the trainings themselves. Many participants left not only with strengthened leadership tools, but with new friendships, ministry partners, and an invigorated sense of purpose.

In every way, the seminar stood as a tribute to the heart and vision of Pharm. Samson and Mrs. Victoria Osewa. Their decision to sponsor this gathering speaks to a lifelong commitment to raising leaders who will influence their communities and nations for good. As Pharm. Samson approaches his 70th birthday, a milestone marked by grace, service, and unwavering dedication-this seminar becomes part of a living legacy that continues to equip and empower others.

The National Seminar may have concluded, but its impact is only beginning. The lessons learned, relationships built, and visions rekindled will ripple outward into ministries, organisations, and society at large. Leadership is not merely taught; it is modelled and this seminar beautifully embodied that truth.
